Dr. Nicholas Gonzalez returns to the show to share his new book What Went Wrong: The Truth Behind the Clinical Trial of the Enzyme Treatment of Cancer. As a former journalist for Time Inc. who has written this new book, his purpose is to bring to light the truth of his own project to share how bias, indifference, and many times incompetence undermined a landmark study with promising research that if properly run, might have ushered in a new direction for the treatment of cancer. He received his medical degree from Cornell University Medical College in 1983. During a postgraduate immunology fellowship under Dr. Robert A. Good, considered the father of modern immunology, Dr. Gonzalez investigated the nutritional cancer treatment developed by dentist Dr. William Donald Kelley. Dr. Gonzalez is in private practice in New York City, treating cancer and other degenerative diseases with an enzyme-based nutritional regimen. Dr. Gonzalez is one of the courageous and honorable doctors that is willing to name names, share the working and successful discoveries, and practice the kind of medicine that inspired the Hippocratic Oath. Most importantly, most of his cancer patients are alive to talk about it, and his treatments are working.

A moving but distressing interview. I have only one word for Dr Gonzalez – Semmelweis!
