<itunes:subtitle>Many blame the economic collapse on credit default swaps. But what are they? Terry Duhon & Betsy Mettler of B & B Structured Finance spell it out for us.</itunes:subtitle>
<itunes:summary>Many of us believe that a financial instrument called a credit default swap is to blame for the current economic collapse. I have also read that credit derivatives are another major point source for the global economic collapse. I didn’t know whether such assertions were correct, because I had no idea what these instruments are or what they do. Preliminary research indicated that I would never understand these seemingly mysterious securitized instruments without the help of an industry insider.

What are credit derivatives? What is a credit default swap? Why were they created, how do they work, and whom do they benefit? Is there anything positive about them, or are they really just instruments of mass destruction? B & B Structured Finance (http://bandbstructuredfinance.com/) Managing Partner Terry Duhon and Partner Betsy Mettler join us with Web of Debt author Ellen Brown to shed much-needed light on this complex topic.

<itunes:subtitle>David Morgan, founder of silver-investor.com and The Morgan Report, explains the value of silver and why we should invest in it.</itunes:subtitle>
<itunes:summary>Silver Investor (http://silver-investor.com)'s David Morgan empowers people in the area of money, mining, and metals. He is the author of Get The Skinny on Silver Investing and The Morgan Report. His 30-plus years of experience in metals and his understanding of monetary history help us understand a unique window of opportunity.

Although OPEC and Central Banks are not known for hoarding silver, silver is very valuable. It is used in so many industrial applications and devices. The demand for silver exceeds the available above the ground supply. Silver is not just an industrial metal; it is real money.

Silver is referenced in almost all of the holy books as money. It is mined as a by-product of copper, lead, zinc, and gold and is one of the most overlooked and underestimated investments in the world. Find out what you need to know about Silver Fundamentals that will allow you to make timely investment decisions.

Silver is beckoning our attention. Fiat currency is on its way to the fiat cemetery. It's time for a new paradigm for investment strategies.

In December of 2009, we did a broadcast with James Turk (http://itsrainmakingtime.com/2009/jamesturk/), the founder of Goldmoney (http://goldmoney.com/index.html?gmrefcode=itsrainmakingtime). Goldmoney (http://goldmoney.com/index.html?gmrefcode=itsrainmakingtime) is a digital environment to buy, sell and store gold, silver, and platinum. All metals are stored in London or Switzerland as allocated storage. And, while we are huge advocates of James Turk and his remarkable creation and transparent model and while we have our own account set up there, not everyone wants to do business digitally and have their precious metals stored outside the USA. Some people assume that proximity guarantees safety.

For those of you who really want to learn more about investing in silver, Silver Investor (http://silver-investor.com/) can be of great help to you. Some of you want to own and store your silver bullion or coins and have them with you, or located at your home, office, or your own designated storage facility.

Join us as David gives us the skinny on silver investing!

<itunes:subtitle>GoldMoney founder James Turk discusses the history of gold, the use of metals as money, and a new universe of financial transaction.</itunes:subtitle>
<itunes:summary>James Turk, the "Yoda" of the metals industry, joins us for an in-depth discussion regarding the use of digital money (metals as money), why his application opens up new worlds of transaction, in what context one should use and own metals, the paradigm behind GoldMoney (http://goldmoney.com?gmrefcode=itsrainmakingtime), and new ways to protect ourselves financially. This is one of the most exciting interviews for understanding the history of money, governments, and governance. It's a way to understand how history repeats itself and how people have an opportunity to be smart students of history while they still have a chance.

You really feel as if you're part of something special as you listen to James share a marvelous opportunity to not only prosper and preserve our savings and investments, but to be part of a novel gateway of paying for goods and services, funding new projects, and affirming sound money by becoming part of business activities that use it.

We ask questions that are not often asked in most of his financial interviews. James Turk is the Co-Author of The Coming Collapse of the Dollar and How to Profit From It (http://www.amazon.com/Coming-Collapse-Dollar-How-Profit/dp/0385512236).

<itunes:subtitle>Spend 50 minutes in Singapore with author and adventure capitalist Jim Rogers, the Indiana Jones of Finance.</itunes:subtitle>
<itunes:summary>After watching over 20 hours of interviews and reading A Bull in China and Hot Commodities, I realized that many public figures sometimes have to sublimate a part of themselves in order to be well-received. But there's more to Jim Rogers (http://www.jimrogers.com), the King of the Commodities World, than one might expect. Join us for this compelling conversation.

As the co-founder of The Quantum Fund, the founder of The Rogers International Commodities Index, the chairman of Rogers Holdings and the author of five books, Jim is considered the Indiana Jones of Finance for a very good reason. He is driven by his love of adventure and his fascination with the interconnectivity of the entire world. Opportunities and investments seem to find him.

Tune in and spend 50 minutes on a Sunday morning in Singapore with Jim Rogers as he works out on his stationary bike. Don't miss this journey into the mind of one of the world's greatest investors.
